GHOMAN ROYAL PUNJABI CUP

The Ghoman Group is proud to have served as the Title Sponsor of the 2025 Ghoman Royal Punjabi Cup, one of Canada’s premier Punjabi-community golf tournaments. Held on August 26, 2025 at the prestigious Glencairn Golf Club, the annual event brings together golfers, business leaders, and community members for a day of competition, culture, and charitable impact.

Founded in 2007, the Punjabi Golfers Association created the Royal Punjabi Cup to promote golf within the Punjabi community and to encourage participation across all ages. Today, it stands as the largest tournament of its kind in Ontario, combining sport with a commitment to giving back. Tournament proceeds support the Seva Food Bank, helping provide essential resources to families in need throughout the GTA.

As Title Sponsor, the Ghoman Group is honored to contribute to an event that aligns with its values of community leadership, cultural pride, and meaningful service. This partnership reflects the Group’s ongoing dedication to supporting initiatives that uplift communities across Canada and beyond.

FOR A GOOD CAUSE

The Seva Food Bank, operated by Sikhs Serving Canada, provides safe, nutritious, and culturally appropriate food to low-income families across Mississauga. With two locations in Malton and Wolfedale, Seva supports hundreds of households each month, offering essential groceries while upholding its core values of dignity, inclusion, and “selfless service.”

Proceeds from the Ghoman Royal Punjabi Cup play an important role in sustaining this mission. Funds raised through the tournament help Seva purchase food, support daily operations, and expand outreach programs that address the rising need for food support in the community. Beyond financial contributions, the tournament also brings visibility to food insecurity and strengthens community engagement around charitable giving.

Through this partnership, the Ghoman Group and the Punjabi Golfers Association help Seva continue providing vital nutrition and support to families in need — ensuring lasting impact well beyond tournament day.
